Cocoon Maldives
Cocoon Maldives is a 5-star design-led island resort located on Ookolhufinolhu Island in Lhaviyani Atoll. Originally opened in December 2016, the resort underwent a transformative upgrade before its grand reopening in October 2024. Known as the first design hotel in the Maldives, Cocoon Maldives combines contemporary Italian design with the natural beauty of the Maldivian island surroundings. The resort features 150 villas, offering a selection of beachfront and lagoon accommodation designed for a stylish and relaxing island escape. Guests can reach the resort by a scenic approximately 30-minute seaplane journey from Velana International Airport, operated by Trans Maldivian Airways.
