I just wanted to take some time to properly share our feedback. Our Maldives trip was absolutely excellent! 🏝️❤️

From the moment we landed until the day we left for our departure, everything was so well taken care of. Everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly, and the hospitality throughout the trip was simply amazing.

A huge part of what made the holiday so special was our travel agent, Lazing Wanderer (shout out to James Lee) assistance and guidance throughout the entire journey. The Lazing Wanderer made the whole process so smooth and stress-free. The response time was always great, and was always there whenever we needed anything, and they helped us with every little detail to make sure the holiday was planned and executed exactly the way we wanted.

And Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives was absolutely fantastic! 🌊🌴 We genuinely loved every bit of our stay. The resort was beautiful, the atmosphere was amazing, and the staff were incredibly warm and accommodating.

Having our baby with us made us a little more particular about the trip, but the team at the resort took such wonderful care of us. They were so attentive and accommodating throughout our stay, which made travelling with a baby so much easier and more enjoyable. ❤️

What really touched us was the effort they put into making our son’s 1st birthday special. 🎂🥹 They prepared beautiful surprises for him not only at the restaurant but even at our water villa! Those little personal touches made the experience even more memorable for our family.

Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better Maldives getaway. Everything—from the planning with The Lazing Wanderer to our stay at Atmosphere Kanifushi—was just perfect.

We recently enjoyed the Disney Adventure Cruise (25–28 May 2026) and it was truly a magical and memorable family holiday!

A big thank you to The Lazing Wanderer for their exceptional service. From the initial enquiry to the final booking confirmation, the team was professional, responsive and helpful. They patiently answered all our questions, provided useful tips and ensured that the entire booking process was smooth and stress-free.

Their attention to detail and excellent customer service gave us confidence throughout the planning process, allowing us to focus on looking forward to our holiday instead of worrying about logistics. Even as first-time cruise travellers, we felt well guided and taken care of.

For families with children aged 12 and below, I highly recommend experiencing the Disney Adventure Cruise at least once. Just came back from our Disney Adventure Cruise trip and really happy that we booked through Lazing Wanderer.

Ai and the team curated the perfect package for our family — we opted for the all-inclusive experience, which included meals, drinks, a dolphin cruise, spa treatments, photoshoot and even a floating breakfast in our overwater pool villa. It truly made the trip seamless and stress-free.

From start to finish, the service was impeccable. We stayed in an overwater villa, and I was genuinely impressed by how spacious and thoughtfully designed it was.

Travelling as a family of four (2 adults and 2 young children), Ai and the team coordinated with the resort to ensure our stay was comfortable. The villa could be divided into four distinct sections — bathroom, master bedroom, living area, and a separate sleeping space for the kids — which gave us privacy when needed while still enjoying time together.

The food and drinks were consistently excellent. What stood out most was the personal touch — the chef would prepare customised snacks for our kids based on their preferences, which made the experience feel extra special and thoughtful.

The spa was easily one of my favourite highlights. The treatment rooms featured glass panels overlooking the ocean, so you could watch the sea while enjoying your massage — incredibly relaxing.

I had a Balinese massage, and it was both soothing and rejuvenating — exactly what you’d want on a holiday like this.

🐬 Activities & Experiences

The dolphin cruise was unforgettable. The crew were warm, attentive, and made sure we had the chance to see dolphins — which we did! It was such a magical experience for both adults and kids.

The kids’ club was another big win. Our children loved the activities, especially beading and cupcake decorating, which kept them happily engaged.

Overall, this was an incredible family vacation — relaxing, well-organised, and filled with memorable experiences.

We’re already looking forward to coming back again and would definitely book through The Lazing Wanderer!

My overall review:
Atmosphere Kanifushi Resort: very well maintained, super clean (no molds in the water villa pool). Usually I can't sleep so well in new places but their pillows and (heavy)comforters are high quality, king size bed (good sleep every night), they provide everything you need from lip balm, insect repellants, sunblock, loofa, life vests, slippers (indoor and outdoor), Elemis brand shampoo etc, toothbrush is high quality can last for days, Colgate toothpaste, free refill for the mini bars everyday, nuts snacks, chocolates, wines, tea, soft drinks, water 2x a day room cleaning!

The service is top notched never felt so spoiled, from the airport pick up, to the lounge, and transfer of seaplane, to the arrival and assigning of butler everything was well coordinated, it's a very personal experience (all the staffs are trained so well, greetings, friendly they make small talk and constantly ask if everything is fine, what else do you need)!

Snorkeling experience (no charge, except Manta Ray/Turtle/Shark): they have great boats (different types), super clean, towels provided with fresh water for showering inside the boats, softdrinks, bottled water, life vest and at least 4-5 boatman for a group of 15 (no need to travel so far too)! Snorkeling just right outside the water villa is so nice with lots of fish (including fat Parrot Fishes) and the water is just calm.

Complete Snorkeling gears with fins can be borrowed in their dive center for the period of stay no charge.

They have provided shuttle bus everywhere max 15mins waiting, so many free activities (from snorkeling, fishing, sunrise/sunset cruise, yoga, meditation, aquasports, xbox competition, arcade games, tennis court, pickleball courts, zumba, dance class, beach volleyball, pilates, fire dance, light show, dj at night etc.) for the island that you won't get bored at all (both for kids and adults)! Newsletter is provided everyday for the island activities/weather/manager for the day.

So much restaurants to choose from with different themes and cuisines from Vegetarian, to International Food, to Sri Lankan Food, Asian Food, Fine Dine and Teppanyaki cooking show (all inclusive except the Tepanyaki). Ala Carte and Buffet. Wifi is available everywhere. 45mins spa is also included, very relaxing and private. Free flow of drinks from all the restaurants including wines from different countries like Italy, France, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia etc, cocktails, juice, smoothies, mocktails, tea, coffee etc.

Most importantly the environment is filtered, we felt very safe and secure you can leave your things unattended no one will get it, we met a couple of lovely guests from HK and the UK. Many visitors from Spain, other parts of Europe, Russia, UK, HK, Taiwan, Dubai, Malaysia and SG etc.
They told is the island is at 70% occupancy rate but we never felt the crowd, good privacy and enough space for everyone.

Well arrangements, provide details tips and able arrange overnight stay if required.
